No experience is needed — our team walks you through every step so you can focus on having fun and creating something that feels uniquely yours.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is There an Age Restriction?
Our candle and perfume making classes are family-friendly and welcome younger guests. We recommend ages 10 and older for the best hands-on experience.
Children as young as 8 years old may attend; however, our staff will handle all hot wax and other potentially hazardous materials to ensure safety. We also provide gloves and appropriate protective equipment (PPE) during the workshop.
Safety is always our top priority, and our team is there every step of the way to assist.
How long are the classes?
Most classes last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, including cooling time.
Can I take my candle home the same day?
Yes. Candles typically need about 45 minutes to cool before they’re cured enough to take home. If you need to leave early, you’re welcome to return during regular business hours to pick it up.
What should I bring?
Just yourself! All supplies are provided. Some classes include complimentary snacks and drinks, and you’re welcome to bring your own beverage if noted on the event listing.
Do I need prior experience?
Not at all. All classes are beginner-friendly and guided step-by-step.
Can I add an extra candle or perfume?
Yes! Many classes offer the option to add a second candle or perfume. Let the instructor know when you arrive.
Are these classes good for groups or celebrations?
Absolutely. Our classes are great for birthdays, bachelorette parties, team events, and private gatherings.
What is your cancellation policy?
Because seating is limited and materials are prepared in advance, tickets are non-refundable once purchased. With advance notice, tickets can be transferred to a future class.

You may reschedule your experience. If you choose not to reschedule your experience, then you can have your reservation turned into store credit to use in-store!
If you do not reschedule within the 14-day window from the date of your class, you forfeit your class and your reservation fee.

• Participation involves the use of materials and equipment that may pose minor risks (including burns, spills, or skin irritation). All guests participate at their own risk.
• Nivori Official, its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, or property harm sustained during the event.
• Guests are responsible for supervising any minors in their care.
• Submission of a booking or payment serves as your binding agreement to these terms.
Seasonal Special Pricing
Select classes are offered at special seasonal promotional pricing for a limited time. Once the seasonal special ends, regular pricing will apply.

Private Parties & Group Events
Looking to host a private candle or perfume making experience in Summerville, SC? At Nivori, we offer private workshops where our space is exclusively reserved for your group for the duration of your class.
Private groups may choose from any of the workshops listed above, including our Petite Eau de Parfum Workshop, Eau de Parfum Workshop, Candle Making Workshop, or our Candle + Perfume Combo experience.
If your group is larger than 16 guests, we may also be able to bring the experience to your location in the Summerville or Charleston area. Email us to discuss options.

Private workshops reserve our space exclusively for your group and include guided instruction, materials, and use of our creative supplies.

Private Event Payment Policy
To reserve your private workshop, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit secures your event date and allows our team to begin preparing materials, staffing, and seating for your group.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days prior to your event date.
If the remaining balance is not received by this deadline, the event may be opened to the public for other guests to book, and the workshop will no longer be reserved exclusively for your group.
Because private events reserve our space exclusively and require advance preparation, deposits and payments are non-refundable. If your group needs to adjust the date, we will do our best to accommodate a reschedule based on availability with advance notice.
Arrival & Tardy Policy
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled class time so we can begin promptly.
Because our workshops run back-to-back throughout the day, it is important that all guests arrive on time. Starting the class late can impact other guests who may have plans after the workshop, and we want to respect everyone’s time.
If you arrive late, our instructors will do their best to get you caught up. However, we may not be able to repeat earlier steps or restart portions of the class once it has begun.
We appreciate your understanding so that every guest can enjoy the full experience and our classes can run smoothly.
